Renwal No. 164 Army Jet - Ylw SP

Okay, let's make one thing clear, the U.S. Army doesn't fly fighter jets. They got out of the fighter plane business when the Air Force split from them in 1947 to become a separate service. But, as we've noted on this blog more often than I care to count, toy companies have a habit of playing fast and loose with the facts and they never let the facts get in the way of producing a cool toy.  The toy itself doesn't appear to follow any prototype aircraft that I could determine and seems to follow the vague outlines of several different planes. But hey, in the end analysis it goes back to what I always say - it's just a toy. It measures 5" (12.7cm) L x 4 3/4" (12.06cm) wingspan x 1 1/4" (3.17cm) H. Play and Enjoy!
