GSC #71278 Green 'Gem' Dragon

****UPDATE****
I incorrectly listed the part number as 71273. It is actually 71278. The blog title has been changed to reflect the correct part number.

You know when you've been collecting too long when you find stuff that you totally forgot you had! Such was the case with this and another dragon found while digging through The Cave. I saw the boxes and thought they were empty but to my surprise they held dragons! These were made (or distributed?) by a company called GCS and while they're not the very best dragons out on the market, they're really not too bad. They're not as heavy as cold cast resin sculpts would be but I also don't think they're polystyrene - perhaps a lighter form of resin.  The dragon measures 9 1/2" (24.1cm)  L x 7 3/4" (19.7cm) H. Today we'll feature what I call the Green 'Gem' Dragon (as there is no name on the packaging or dragon itself). Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
